With lockdown slowly easing, we are looking forward to unfurling our wings and enjoy the sunshine, with al fresco dining under the (hopefully!) blue skies this spring.
The Samling
Just in time for the warmer, longer days - The Samling is delighted to announce their new Al Fresco Dining, with menus that boast the best tastes of summer. Fresh, seasonal ingredients – plus The Samling’s renowned wine list – have been bought together to be enjoyed outdoors, with friends and family, in line with the new Covid guidelines. Guests can relax in the late spring and summer sunshine on the terrace, surrounded by billowing blooms and blossoms, overlooking the sweeping gardens as they head down to the gentle waters of Lake Windermere. For families or larger groups the Dutch Barn can be taken exclusively for the perfect relaxed environment for family reunions, small celebrations or a simply delightful destination to relax under the blue skies of the Lake District, perched on the edge of the woodlands above the lakes.
For a relaxed, laid back lunch the menu features delicious sharing platters, scrumptious salads, homemade pizzas and burgers. In the evenings, dine under the stars, with candlelight flickering, heaters to keep the any chill in the air at bay, enjoying hearty delicious dishes and the warm hospitality for which The Samling is so well known. Wine is at the heart of The Samling, and the flavours of spring will ring out in a specially chosen summer selection that kicks off with Champagne by the glass and bottle, brings whites from the Kentish hills to the vineyards of Spain and chosen summery reds from France and the sunshine state, California.
