On 1st November 2018 businesses from across Cornwall gathered at Truro Cathedral to celebrate the 17th Cornwall Tourism Awards 2018 at a glittering evening. With 26 different categories across the tourism sector and hundreds of entries, the judging process took over six months, having whittled down the many entries into shortlists, with the winners announced in front of an http://www.cornwalltourismawards.org.uk/enthusiastic crowd of some of Cornwall’s leading tourism figures.
Carbis Bay Hotel, which is renowned for its beautiful location on the Estate’s privately owned 25 acre Blue Flag Beach, was presented with GOLD in the categories of Large Hotel of the Year, Spa & Wellbeing Experience of the Year and SILVER in the Venue & Business Tourism Award and Self Catering Accommodation, building on their 3 awards in 2017. The Spa & Wellbeing Experience Gold was awarded to Carbis Bay’s C Bay Spa for going above and beyond to deliver a first class, innovative spa experience to guests in their stunning coastal spa overlooking the beach.
