New Client : Penzance Gin

The Massey Partnership is delighted to announce that they are now representing Penzance Gin, the new hand distilled compound gin produced in the heart of the West Cornwall harbour town.

Penzance Gin is the creation of three friends from the village of Gulval, Sarah Shaw, Stevie McCrindle and Sarah Fowles Lait hatched one winter evening over drinks at their local pub quiz. All three are passionate about Cornwall, great food, adventures…and of course gin!  They decided that they would like to try to create a wonderful Cornish blend and agreed to dedicate the winter months to coming up with the ultimate bath tub gin, experimenting with the plethora of locally grown botanicals such a gorse and juniper to create a smooth, uniquely flavoured drink with complex warmth and clarity and a rich golden colour.

The gin is created above The Cornish Hen, Sarah’s delicatessen, in the centre of Penzance, overlooking the rooftops of Penzance.  Here they mix and bottle the gin by hand, labelling it with their beautiful blue label showing the Jubilee Pool, the art-deco lido found just moments from the Penzance Gin HQ.

Penzance Gin is the only gin created and bottled in the heart of this working Cornish town, a small batch gin with warmth and depth of character.
