London, April 2026 : The Massey Partnership are delighted to share that they are working with Plonk’d, the Spanish inspired restaurant and bar in Wadebridge.

Founded in 2023 by hospitality duo Jonny and Jess, Plonk’d was born from a shared love of great wine, simple food and the convivial atmosphere of Spanish pintxos bars. The result is an informal and welcoming destination where guests are encouraged to settle in, share plates and discover something new by the glass.

Plonk’d has quickly established itself as one of Cornwall’s most exciting food and drink destinations, culminating in an appearance on TopJaw in spring 2025. Located in Wadebridge the neighbourhood spot blends Northern Spanish inspired plates with a thoughtful, low intervention wine list, creating a warm and welcoming space for both locals and visitors.

The food offering takes its cues from the Basque region and beyond, with a menu built around bold flavours and high-quality ingredients. Expect a changing selection of pintxos and tapas designed for sharing, alongside standout Spanish staples such as Jamón Ibérico, Manchego and Pan con Tomate. Dishes are seasonal and ingredient-led, with a focus on simplicity and depth of flavour.

Complementing the food is a carefully curated wine list that champions small producers, minimal intervention techniques and interesting varietals. Jonny and Jess are passionate about making wine approachable and fun, offering guests the chance to explore something different without pretence and regularly hosting tasting events.

Adding to its appeal as a destination, Plonk’d has recently launched a Spanish inspired brunch menu, bringing a fresh dimension to the offering. Highlights include Iberico presa with eggs on sourdough, Huevos Rotos with baked eggs and spiced potatoes, and Torrija - a Spanish style French toast served with either smoked bacon and maple syrup or berries, yogurt and honey. The menu continues the kitchen’s focus on generous, flavour-driven dishes that are perfect for relaxed, sociable dining.

Locals can enjoy Plonk’d via The Plonkers Club, a loyalty scheme that unlocks exclusive offers, early access to events, 10% off all alcoholic drinks, all year round (for tables of up to two) and a complimentary invite to the annual Plonkers’ Wine Tasting, for £25, per year.
