The Massey Partnership is delighted to announce it is now representing The Zetter Hotel in Clerkenwell. Having initially launched the hotel 13 years ago, the Massey team is excited to reintroduce this dynamic and pioneering hotel to the media this summer, with lots of developments and news for the year ahead.
This spring sees the relaunch of The Zetter’s newly redesigned and refurbished rooftop suites in conjunction with creative collective 93 ft. With private patios offering breathtaking views across the city, sunchairs, ceiling to floor windows, baths and rain dance showers, the suites offer the very best of penthouse living in the heart of the city. The suites represent the start of a renovation project at the hotel with the rest of the rooftop rooms being completed by January 2018.
Ben Boeynaems, new Head Chef, who joined the Zetter Group earlier this spring from the Michelin starred The Goring, is creating innovative new menus for Club Zetter Wine Room & Kitchen. The new dinner menu, set to launch at the beginning of June, will be an exquisite complement to the restaurant’s fabulous wine collection, placing The Zetter at the heart of London’s dining scene for 2017.
Club Zetter also continues to run the most innovative, free events programme in East London. This May, Aimee Hartley, Editor of new wine and culture magazine, Above Sea Level, hosts a tasting evening focusing on Californian craft-led producers (31st May), Aaron Turner discusses how to harness positive energy in productivity (16th May), Artful Neighbourhoods: Manhattan Loft Corporation in conversation with Lazarides Gallery moderated by Wallpaper (12th June), and Steve Agyei offers early morning Wellness Workout combining yoga, meditation and bodyweight training (25th May).
Clerkenwell is a creative hub where East meets West London. In an area full of design and media agencies and a stone’s throw from Silicon Roundabout, Club Zetter, launched in 2016, is The Zetter’s collaborative work-space partnership with Central Working. With a fully supported light and airy working space, The Zetter’s cool interiors, refreshments and hospitality create an inspiring environment for members to do business in absolute comfort. Guests of the hotel benefit with full access to the Club Zetter working facilities whilst at the staying at the hotel.
Editor’s Notes:
Award-winning boutique property The Zetter Hotel opened its doors in 2004 in London, in the historical quarter of Clerkenwell. After purchasing the 19th century warehouse known locally as ‘the Zetter building’ in the summer of 2001, The Zetter Group transformed it into a design-led destination hotel, packed with personality and pioneering eco-credentials. Winner of the Green Tourism Gold Award, the Zetter team has a truly sustainable approach to business that looks beyond energy efficiency and responsible disposal of waste.
With 59 rooms, dramatic Atrium, ‘Club Zetter’ working space in partnership with Central Working and al fresco dining in the summer, The Zetter is a characterful in the heart of the creative district of Clerkenwell.
THE ZETTER GROUP
The Zetter Group is an independent collection of hotels and restaurants with bags of personality and pioneering eco-credentials, owned by partners Michael Benyan & Mark Sainsbury. Mark and Michael first joined forces to open the multi-award winning Moro restaurant in 1997. They reunited a few years later to buy an old five-storey warehouse in Clerkenwell and set about turning it into a destination for those looking for a hotel with style and comfort but without the price tag. They opened their first venue, 59-room The Zetter Hotel in 2004 to wide acclaim. The Group then went on to open Bistrot Bruno Loubet in February 2010; The Zetter Townhouse, Clerkenwell in 2011; and standalone restaurant in King’s Cross, Grain Store in 2013. The Zetter Townhouse, Marylebone opened in August 2015. www.thezettergroup.com
