Penzance Launches First-Ever Tapas Trail: A Culinary Celebration of Local Flavours

8th September 2025, Penzance : The Penzance BID are delighted to share the launch of the Tapas Trail ( or Tro Gwithys Kernewek - which translates from Cornish as ‘Cornish Taste Trail) a five-day celebration of food and drink showcasing some of the town’s best-loved restaurants and producers. From 17th to 21st September, locals and visitors alike are invited to explore Penzance in a new way - through bite-sized dishes, each priced at £5 or less.

The Tapas Trail brings together a diverse collection of independent restaurants, cafés, bars and shops, each offering their own unique “tapas” creation. Participants can pick up a Tapas Trail card and embark on a flavour-filled journey through the town, sampling everything from traditional Cornish favourites to inventive global small plates.
