The Samling, the luxury boutique hotel nestled in the heart of the Lake District, has been named the "Best Boutique Hotel Restaurant" at the 2023 Boutique Hotelier Awards, which took place on 16 October, the evening of the first night of The Independent Hotel Show, at The Chelsea Harbour Hotel in London.
The glittering ceremony saw close to 300 hoteliers from across the UK gather to hear the much-anticipated results, representing properties from London to the Lake District. The Samling was recognised as a hotel that has effortlessly incorporated food and beverage into the guest experience and champions high-level, attractive cooking that thrills both guests and non-residents.
The Boutique Hotelier Awards celebrate the very best in the hospitality industry, shining a spotlight on boutique hotels, restaurants, and other unique and distinctive properties across the UK. The Samling's achievement in winning the "Best Boutique Hotel Restaurant" category further solidifies its reputation as a destination for world-class dining experiences.
The Samling’s restaurant, set inside a glass-walled dining room with expansive Lake views, exclusively serves a tasting menu from executive head chef Robby Jenks. Wherever possible, ingredients are sourced from the hotel’s greenhouse, gardens and woodland.
