London, July 2018: To celebrate the start of the summer holidays, Penzance’s art deco salt-water lido Jubilee Pool is inviting adults and children from Cornwall and beyond to come and take part in the Unicorn Derby, a sparkling and dazzling summer launch event on Saturday the 28th of July 2018.
Following the popular pool inflatables trend which has seen many animal inflatables pictured all over social media, the pool and café plans to host the biggest ever gathering of inflatable unicorns and run a variety of unicorn themed activities from 10:30am until 8pm.
The Unicorn Derby has been set up to encourage people who are both local and visiting Cornwall to come and try the pool and use inflatables in a safe and fun environment. Participants will also find out about the Community Share matter and geothermal project to heat the pool to 35 degrees, transforming the pool into an all year-round visitor attraction.
